New freshmen starting at North Olmsted High School stepped into a different environment with new faces and surroundings during their recent orientation; however, comfort was found in the form of cookies, candy, and friendly smiles provided by residents of Vitalia North Olmsted. This is the second year the residents have provided the snacks, along with colorful signs and meaningful words of encouragement.
The Vitalia residents know all too well what the first day in a new place can be like, having recent experience moving from their homes into the senior living community, a new environment, with new people, faces, and surroundings. The older adults of Vitalia North Olmsted strive for increased intergenerational events involving area schools.
